Delays expected: If you are visiting between late December and the end of January, please allow extra time for your visit and parking, and carpool where possible.
Visit the Nobbies Centre and take a stroll along the boardwalks to soak up breathtaking coastal views.
Gaze out over the Bass Strait while enjoying sustainably caught, MSC certified seafood, or opting for a burger, fresh salad, cake or ice cream. We also pride ourselves on our delicious coffee.

To help protect the abundant wildlife that calls the Summerland Peninsula home, we close access to the roads leading to the Nobbies Centre before sunset each night.

How to get there?
By car: Phillip Island is located 90 minutes' drive from Melbourne. Allow a further 20 minutes from the bridge to get to the Penguin Parade. Free car parking on site.
By bus: Public transport is limited on Phillip Island. V-line operates a bus to Phillip Island’s main town, Cowes, from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne city.
Please note that the V-line bus does not go to the Nobbies.

Visitors with Sensory needs
- We are a certified sensory-inclusive site for with professionally trained staff
- Sensory bags available, equipped with noise-cancelling headphones, fidget tools and verbal cue cards - these can be checked out for free by leaving an ID with our staff
- Weighted lap pads available - these can be checked out for free by leaving an ID with our staff
- Headphone Zones and Designated Quiet Areas
Visitors with Assistance animals
Phillip Island Nature Parks welcomes visitors who use assistance animals certified by a registered authority. Assistance animals must remain on designated paths and restrained by a harness or lead.
