About this episode

Affectionately known as “hoodies,” Hooded Plovers are an exciting sight to see on Phillip Island beaches. They are classed as vulnerable in Australia, and Phillip Island Nature Parks works hard to protect them and their habitat. In this episode, Ranger Jordan heads out to the beach to monitor some of these tiny birds and Ranger Skye chats to Environment Ranger Jon about why it is so important to look after these tiny shorebirds.
