At Phillip Island Nature Parks we inspire future careers in environmental conservation with our Work Experience and Volunteering Opportunities.

Work Experience

work experience2

Work experience opportunities are available for Year 10 students who have a passion for working in the environment. Our unique week-long program allows students to gain hands on experience in many areas of the Nature Parks, including assisting rangers at the Penguin Parade, revegetation work with the environment team, koala enclosure maintenance at the Koala Conservation Centre and daily farming activities on Churchill Island Heritage Farm.

Please note that due to the competitive nature of this program and to stream line proceedings, the application process has changed. Successful students will be accepted based upon their applications. If they are accepted into the program they will be able to move forward to secure their specific dates and complete all relevant paperwork.

For 2021 we are offering dates from Mid August to Mid September.
