Over 40 000 knitted penguin jumpers have arrived in Melbourne as an early Christmas present for Phillip Island’s little penguins. The 228 cartons of colourful jumpers, weighing over two tonnes and measuring 16.7 square meters, is the largest ever shipment received by the Penguin Foundation at Phillip Island and will assist the penguins in the event of any future oil spills.
