Congratulations to the education departments Costal Ambassadors program on winning the Victorian Coastal Awards for Excellence 2010
The Phillip Island Nature Park is a self-funded, not for profit organisation dedicated to the conservation of Phillip Island’s wildlife and natural features.
The Nature Park, established by the Victorian Government in 1996, brings together the Penguin Parade, Koala Conservation Centre, Churchill Island Heritage Farm, the Nobbies Centre and Point Grant, Cape Woolamai, Rhyll Inlet and Wetlands, Oswin Roberts Reserve and the southern beaches of Phillip Island.
Such a diversity of ecosystems provides an ideal location for students of all ages to engage with amazing flora and fauna while learning about the importance of conservation.
Come and discover all that Phillip Island has to offer for you and your students. This FREE event for VIT registered teachers includes transport to all attractions, entrance fees, lunch and ranger talk.
The mission of the Nature Park’s Education Department is:
“To develop a greater understanding of the natural environment through exploration, investigation and hands on activies”.
Our structured Ranger Talks are based on the Victorian Essential Learning Standards and a variety of VCE Study Designs.
